Vol. 370 No. 6

Written Answers. - Health Services Supervisor Instructors.

63.

asked the Minister for Health the reason 15 per cent arrears in wages, which were agreed following Labour Court concilliation, to be paid to supervisor instructors in the health services have not been paid by his Department; and when he proposes to pay the arrears which are now overdue for several years.

I presume the Deputy is referring to a situation which has arisen involving staff employed by the Brothers of Charity at Kilcornan training centre, Clarenbridge, County Galway. Negotiations have been in progress for some time with the relevant trade union and I anticipate an early resolution of the matter.
