asked the Minister for the Environment the reason for the delay in the payment of a £2,000 new house grant to a person (details supplied) in County Louth in view of the fact that an inspection was carried out on 1 October 1986.

There has been no undue delay in this case. The grant will be paid within the next few weeks.

asked the Minister for the Environment the reason for the delay in carrying out an inspection of the home of a person (details supplied) in County Louth in relation to her application for payment of a home improvement grant; when the inspection will be carried out; and when payment will be made.

There has been no undue delay. Additional information requested from the applicant has recently been received and a final inspection will be carried out within the next few weeks with a view to payment of a grant.

asked the Minister for the Environment if he will confirm an application for a new house grant for a person (details supplied) in County Roscommon.

A new house grant was approved in this case on 12 November 1982, but so far notification that the house is ready for inspection has not yet been received.

41.

asked the Minister for the Environment if he will expedite a home improvement grant for a person (details supplied) in County Roscommon.

A final inspection with a view to payment of the grant will be carried out within the next few weeks.
