This year I approved £57,000 for the construction of a psychiatric day centre at the site of the health centre in Finglas. This is at present being built.
I have also approved of a psychiatric day hospital on this site. This project is at an advanced stage of planning. My Department is now awaiting the submission of detailed plans from the Eastern Health Board and, when received, they will be dealt with without delay.
