asked the Minister for Labour if he will state in respect of proceedings, if any, taken against employers by his Department under the Protection of Employment Act, 1977, as follows (a) the number of legal proceedings taken under section 11 in respect of offences under section 9 and 10; (b) the number of legal proceedings taken under section 13 in respect of offences under section 12; (c) the number of legal proceedings taken under section 14(2) in respect of offences under section 14(1); (d) the number of legal proceedings taken under section 21(3); and (e) the number of employers who pleaded for mitigation under section 22.

Proceedings have not been instituted against any employer under the provisions of the Protection of Employment Act, 1977.
