Vol. 370 No. 14

Written Answers. - Grant Payments.

114.

asked the Minister for Agriculture when a ewe subsidy will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Galway who had an inspection in April.

The person named and his son have the same christian name. While the father had an off-farm occupation his son was an applicant for headage grants. The son now has an off-farm occupation and the father, who is retired, is the current applicant for grants.

The question of ownership of lands and stock will have to be determined before the payment of grants to the father can be considered.
