Vol. 370 No. 15

Ceisteanna — Questions. Oral Answers. - Assistance to Dairy Farmers.

11.

asked the Minister for Agriculture if he has any special assistance to offer the small dairy farmer of up to an annual output of 40,000 gallons.

Beyond the support provided through the mechanisms of the Common Agricultural Policy there is no special assistance to dairy farmers in the category referred to by the Deputy, except that small producers supplying not more than 25,000 gallons qualify for special treatment in the allocation of flexi milk.
