asked the Minister for the Environment when a house improvement grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Carlow.

The applicant has been asked to furnish certain information in relation to the carrying out of the work. On its receipt further consideration will be given to the payment of the grant.

asked the Minister for the Environment the reason for the delay in carrying out a final inspection for a home improvement grant for a person (details supplied) in County Waterford.

There is no record of the receipt of an application for a house improvement grant from the person named.

asked the Minister for the Environment the reason for the delay in payment of a house improvement grant to a person (details supplied) in County Waterford despite the fact the work has been completed since November 1986.

There has been no undue delay; the grant has been paid.

asked the Minister for the Environment when a house improvement grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Clare.

This grant will be paid within the next few weeks.

asked the Minister for the Environment when the payment of a house improvement grant will be made to a person (details supplied) in County Carlow.

There is no record of the receipt of an application for a house improvement grant from the person named. However, there is an application from a person with the same name but a slightly different address.

In that case, the file has been referred for inspection with a view to the approval of a grant.

asked the Minister for the Environment the reason for the delay in the payment of a new house grant to a person (details supplied) in County Laois.

There has been no undue delay. The grant will be paid in the next few weeks.

asked the Minister for the Environment the reason a house improvement grant for the replacement of defective windows has not been paid to persons (details supplied) in County Carlow.

The application had to be rejected because, contrary to a condition of the scheme, work had commenced prior to an inspection of the house by the Department's inspector.
