The guidelines contained in the Government decision of 16 December 1986 have been brought to the attention of all State-sponsored bodies under the aegis of my Department and will be taken into account as far as possible in the appropriate financial year.
My Department has given preliminary consideration to the measures required to ensure compliance with the Government decision and will soon be holding discussions with those bodies.
