A post of consultant orthodontist in the Southern Health Board was created more than three years ago. The post was advertised on a number of occasions since then without success. The filling of this vacant post, in common with all other vacancies, will now be considered in accordance with the procedures announced by the Minister for Finance in his Budget Statement.
