Vol. 371 No. 8

Written Answers. - Grant Payments.

65.

asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when a person (details supplied) in County Cork will receive a £600 headage grant.

Payment of the 1986 cattle headage grants has already been made. These grants were restricted under the forage area limitation clause of the disadvantaged areas schemes and my Department has recently written to the person named concerning the evidence of extra acreage furnished. This evidence did not correspond to the lands covered by the application form and so could not be taken into account.

66.

asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when a person (details supplied) in County Cork will receive a ewe premium payment.

If the application of the person named is found to be in order after inspection, she will be paid her 1986 ewe premium when payments for applicants outside disadvantaged areas commence in July.
