Written Answers. - Raglan House Report.

120.

asked the Minister for Energy the structure he envisages for ensuring co-ordinated action on the recommendations of the Raglan House report which spans a number of Government Departments.

The Cremer and Warner Report on the Raglan House explosion recommended the establishment of a Government task force to identify all potentially vulnerable multi-story buildings in the country liable to progressive collapse, to prepare technical guidance and to formulate advice to owners on implementation of remedial measures.

The Government have agreed with this recommendation and have appointed a task force under the aegis of the Minister for the Environment on Friday last, 3 April 1987.
