The preliminary report for the Ardara sewerage scheme was approved in May 1985. The further planning of the scheme is a matter for Donegal County Council.

asked the Minister for the Environment the up-to-date position regarding the Burtonport sewerage scheme in County Donegal.
While contract documents for the Burtonport sewerage scheme were approved on 19 April 1984 I understand that Donegal County Council have not yet completed at local level certain necessary preliminary arrangements to permit the scheme being further considered.

A loan application in respect of the Annagry sewerage scheme is being considered in my Department in the light of available capital and I am not in a position to indicate when a decision will issue.
