Vol. 372 No. 2

Written Answers. - Brideswell (Roscommon) Dispensary Residence.

116.

asked the Minister for Health if he will approve the sale of the Brideswell dispensary residence in Roscommon to the Cam community sports centre, the sale of which was approved by the Western Health Board on 2 March 1987; and if so when.

The Western Health Board was informed on 1 August 1986 that there was no objection to the sale of the Brideswell dispensary residence on a deferred payment basis as recommended by the health board. However, following a meeting of the health boards in March 1987, a revised proposal for the sale of the residence was submitted to my Department. The views of the Valuation Office on this proposal have now been sought and a decision on the matter will be conveyed to the board when those views have been obtained.
