On 28 January last, written submissions were invited from interested organisations and members of the public on proposals for changes in the speed limits currently in use in this country. Submissions have been received from 18 organisations and 74 members of the public. At present, these submissions are being examined in my Department. I will make a decision in the matter fairly soon.
