This application was made in 1985, not 1983 as indicated in the question. I cannot say if or when it will be granted. There is no vacancy in Coolock Garda station. There is one in Santry but, having regard to staffing restrictions in the public service, it cannot be filled at present. If a vacancy arises in the future it will have to be considered in the light of circumstances at the time.
