This application had to be rejected in January 1987 as the required waiting period had not expired since payment of a previous reconstruction grant. Grants amounting to £2,589 in respect of extension (£1,789) and windows/doors (£800) will be paid as soon as possible.

Normally, a house which incorporated part of an existing structure could not be considered to be a new house and would not, therefore, attract a new house grant. However, if an application and supporting documentation is submitted, it will be considered on its merits.
