asked the Minister for Finance the findings of the Farm Tax Commissioner in County Cork in relation to the number of farms assessed; the total acreage of each individual farmer assesed; and if he will give a breakdown of that to adjusted acres.

The total number of agricultural holdings classified by the Farm Tax Commissioner in the functional area of Cork County Council was 239. The gross acreage classified was 76,870 acres and this was adjusted to 51,087 acres giving an acreage ratio of adjusted to statute acres of 66 per cent.

The classification list giving details of the individual assessments is held by Cork County Council and was put on public display during October and early November 1986.
