Arrangements for the supply of the usual physical education equipment to the County Offaly school referred to were in the hands of the Office of Public Works. I have established that the order for the equipment was in fact placed on 5 June 1985 with one of the official suppliers, but that the order was not filled. I have asked the Office of Public Works to have the matter followed up without delay, and will advise the Deputy and the school authorities of the outcome as soon as possible.
