My Department's professional advisers are in the course of preparing a sketch scheme for a proposed extension to Clonmacnoise national school, County Offaly, on the basis of a feasibility study previously undertaken by the Office of Public Works.
I am informed that because of the heavy workload on hands, it is not possible to say when work on the sketch scheme may be completed. I will be receiving a further report on the matter in the near future, and will communicate with the Deputy and the school authorities.
