asked the Minister for the Environment the reason for the delay in payment of a house improvement grant to a person (details supplied) in County Cork even though all the relevant information of the cost of breakdown of work was submitted to his Department over two months ago; and when payment can now be expected.

The receipt of certain information requested from the applicant on 13 April 1987, is awaited.

asked the Minister for the Environment the reason for the delay in payment of a £7,000 house improvement grant to persons (details supplied) in County Cork; and when payment will issue.

There was no undue delay; the grant will be paid as soon as possible.

asked the Minister for the Environment the reason for the delay in payment of a house improvement grant to a person (details supplied) in County Cork even though all relevant information of breakdown of labour and materials requested by his Department have been furnished; and when payment will issue.

There has been no undue delay. Certain information requested from the applicant on the works carried out has now been received and the grant will be paid as soon as possible.

Notification of completion of the work has not been received.

asked the Minister for the Environment the reason for the delay in carrying out a final inspection for a person (details supplied) in County Cork; and when this will be carried out.

There was no delay in this case. A final inspection will be carried out as soon as possible.
