The total income of the agricultural and non-agricultural sectors in 1985 was as set out below.

A detailed breakdown of these totals can be found in Table A.1 on page 9 of "National Income and Expenditure, 1985".
Data for 1986 are not yet available, but it is tentatively estimated that income from agriculture, forestry and fishing fell by about 4 per cent last year and that non-agricultural income increased by about 6 per cent. The Central Statistics Office will be publishing definitive figures around mid-year.
