No proposals regarding accommodation signposting have been submitted to my Department by the organisation referred to.
Consultations are at present in progress between my Department and Bord Fáilte and with the County and City Managers Association on proposals for new standard accommodation signs. As soon as the proposals are finalised it is my Department's intention to issue appropriate guidelines to planning authorities on the matter.
