Vol. 372 No. 13

Written Answers. - Clogheen, Cork, New Reservoir.

125.

asked the Minister for the Environment when a new reservoir will be constructed at Clogheen, County Cork in order to alleviate the water supply problem in the Clogheen/ Kerrypike area.

There are no proposals before my Department at present for the construction of a reservoir at Clogheen, County Cork. While such a proposal was included in Cork County Council's approved water and sewerage small schemes programme for 1986, the scheme was not among those carried out by the council. Any future proposals in this regard are a matter for the council in the first instance.
