Vol. 373 No. 2

Written Answers. - County Sligo Sanitary Service Projects.

262.

asked the Minister for the Environment the amount of money allocated to Sligo County Council for sanitary services construction projects in 1987; the amount from this allocated, designated or needed for the purpose of loan repayments; the amount available as capital for sanitary services development; the schemes if any, now under construction in the Sligo County Council area; and the money, if any, which will be available for work during the remainder of the year.

State subvention towards military services loan repayments is dealt with on the basis of claims submitted during the year and is not the subject of specific advance allocation. The capital allocation to Sligo County Council for sanitary services in 1987 which is £376,115 relates to capital expenditure by the local authority on recently completed schemes; as there are no such capital schemes at present under construction, the question of providing an additional capital allocation to the local authority does not arise at this stage.
