My Department has agreed in principle to grant-aid the replacement of the existing accommodation at the No. 2 national school at Monasterevan, County Kildare, by a good quality prefabricated classroom. So far it has not been possible to secure such type of accommodation at a price considered reasonable by my Department. The matter is having the active attention of my Department's professional advisers with a view to suitable improvement of the facilities at this school.
