asked the Minister for the Environment, in view of the fact that Deputy Crowley received an acknowledgement from his Department in regard to receipts submitted on behalf of a person (details supplied) in County Cork, the reason his Department is unable to trace them.

The documentation referred to has been received and arrangements are being made for the payment of the grant.

asked the Minister for the Environment the reason for the undue delay in having an inspection for a new house grant carried out for a person (details supplied) in County Cork.

There has been no undue delay. The inspection has been carried out and the grant will be paid as soon as possible.

164.

asked the Minister for the Environment when a £5,000 surrender grant will be made available to a person (details supplied) in Dublin 7.

A certificate for payment of the grant has not been received in the Department from the local authority.

165.

asked the Minister for the Environment when a house improvement grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Wexford.

There is no record of the receipt of an application for a house improvement grant from the person named. However, an application was received from a person with the same name from a broadly similar address. In that case notification of completion of the work has not yet been received.
