Vol. 373 No. 8

Written Answers. - Williamstown (Galway) School.

235.

asked the Minister for Education in view of the excessive overcrowding at Williamstown national school, County Galway, when construction will commence on extension to same; and the cost of the proposed extension.

My Department's examination of tenders, and the recommendations relating thereto, for the proposed extension at Williamstown national school, County Galway is in hands. It would not be possible at this stage to say when building work on this project may commence.

It is not my Department's practice to disclose details of the cost of individual national school building projects which are the subject of grant applications, such information being regarded as confidential, as between my Department and the school authorities.
