Vol. 373 No. 9

Written Answers. - Dublin Park.

73.

asked the Minister for Justice the person/group responsible for the condition of the park beside Saint Patrick's Institution, Blacquiere Villas, North Circular Road, Dublin 7; if the area can be cleaned up and the grass cut; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

An agreed sum, in respect of reinstating the park at Royal Canal Terrace, subsequent to construction of a new perimeter to the adjoining Saint Patrick's Institution, was settled with Dublin Corporation in November 1986. I am given to understand by Dublin Corporation that work could not be undertaken by them in the spring, as originally intended, because of inclement weather and staffing shortages but that reinstatement is to commence within the next couple of weeks.
