Vol. 373 No. 12

Written Answers. - Dunleer (Louth) Water Scheme.

94.

asked the Minister for the Environment the reason final payment has not been made in respect of the Mountain Road group water scheme, Dunleer, County Louth, to the contractor (details supplied), although the scheme was completed in 1981; the total amount still due for payment; when payment will be made; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The payment of any outstanding moneys owed by a group to a contractor is entirely a matter between the parties concerned viz. the members of the group and the contractor.

In relation to the grants provisionally allocated by my Department to this group, on receipt of data requested from Louth County Council the group's final grant eligibility will be determined and any outstanding grants paid to the group.
