asked the Minister for the Environment when payment of a house improvement grant will be made to a person (details supplied) in Dublin 13.

In the absence of the applicant's full name, it has not been possible to trace the application.

asked the Minister for the Environment when a house improvement grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Wexford.

asked the Minister for the Environment the number of applicants in County Cork who were refused house improvement grants on the grounds that the housing inspector had not called on the applicants prior to the date the scheme was abolished on 27 March 1987; the number of such applicants who had their applications forwarded to the Department (a) three months (b) six months and (c) 12 months prior to that decision; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The information requested by the Deputy is not readily available in my Department.
