asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when payment of a reclamation grant will be made to a person (details supplied) in County Galway.

Approval for land reclamation will issue shortly and if the work is completed to specification payment of grant aid will be made in due course.

asked the Minister for Agriculture when payment of a reclamation grant will be made to a person (details supplied) in County Galway.

A claim for grant payment has been received and will be paid as soon as practicable. All claims are dealt with strictly in order of receipt and due to existing budgetary restraints there may be some delay in making grant payments. I will, of course, inform the Deputy in due course.

122.

asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food the reason a person (details supplied) in County Meath who applied for a sheep subsidy, and had an inspection carried out in May, 1987 and whose claim only went for payment on 27 August 1987 was informed that due to shortage of funds he will not be included until the October allocation.

The person named was paid his ewe premium on 28 September 1987.
