The proposal from Drogheda Corporation to dispose of the fee simple interest in the premises to which the Deputy refers was received on 27 May 1987. My Department are at present in correspondence with the corporation and the Valuation Office in the matter. There will be no avoidable delay in finalising it.

Drogheda Corporation were informed by letter of 8 October 1986 that their proposal to dispose of the premises to which the Deputy refers appeared to be acceptable and were requested, in accordance with normal procedure, to forward the deed of conveyance for endorsement of the Minister's consent. When this is received there will be no avoidable delay in finalising the matter.
