Vol. 374 No. 1

Written Answers. - Shanakiel, (Cork City) Group Home.

238.

asked the Minister for Health when his Department will sanction approval for a short term group home to be located at Shanakiel, opposite St. Anne's Hospital in Cork City.

The Southern Health Board have submitted to my Department the stage 5 planning documentation for the provision of a short term group home at Shanakiel and the timing of the project is being considered in the context of a review of the health capital programme which is currently being carried out in the Department. I cannot say at this stage when it will be possible to give the board approval to invite tenders.
