asked the Minister for Finance if any private consultants have been engaged by his Department within the past year; if so the names of these consultants; the terms of their engagement; the fees paid to date; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The information requested in respect of the Department of Finance, the Office of Public Works and the Stationery Office is set out in the attached tabular statements.

None of the other offices under my aegis engaged private consultants during the period in question.
