Vol. 374 No. 2

Written Answers. - North Cork Fish Factory.

56.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce when work will commence at the new fish factory in north Cork; the number of people to be employed initially; and if they are being considered for IDA grants or any other State aid.

While the details of IDA grants or any other aid being sought from State agencies for industrial projects would fall within the day to day administration of the agencies concerned and would be solely a matter for them, I have been informed that an overseas interest has visited the area to assess its suitability for such a development.
