Vol. 374 No. 3

Written Answers. - Senior Citizen Housing.

101.

asked the Minister for the Environment if his attention has been drawn to the demand for senior citizen housing in Dublin corporation housing area L., in particular in the Liberties area; if he will give approval for the erection of such accommodation on the sites in the Francis Street-High Street area; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

I would refer the Deputy to my reply to Question No. 211 of 14 October 1987 which sets out the position in relation to senior citizens housing in the Dublin Corporation area.

There are no formal proposals from the corporation before my Department at present for the provision of senior citizens' accommodation in the Francis Street-High Street area.
