Vol. 374 No. 3

Written Answers. - County Dublin Maternity Services.

117.

asked the Minister for Health the plans, if any, there are to close the maternity unit of St. Colmcille's Hospital, Loughlinstown, County Dublin; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

Discussions are at an advanced stage between the Eastern Health Board, the National Maternity Hospital, Holles Street and my Department on the rationalisation of maternity services for South East Dublin-North Wicklow.

Until such time as these discussions are finalised I am not prepared to make a statement on the matter.
