No decisions have yet been taken on the allocations to individual local authorities of the Exchequer funding provided in the 1988 Estimates for infrastructure works being undertaken by the authorities. However, at this stage, I can say that Exchequer funding will be provided in 1988 to allow the continuation of work on roads and sanitary services schemes, recommended by LUTS, which are currently in progress.
