No reduction in the numbers employed by CERT is envisaged in 1988 other than through the non-filling of vacancies arising through natural wastage.
I only recently named the members of An Foras Áiseanna Saothair and they will hold their appointments from 1 January 1988. In the circumstances it is far too early to indicate the likely staffing requirements of FÁS in 1988.
