Officers of my Department currently serving as non-executive directors on these boards are not entitled to any fees.

Note: There have been two general increases on the remuneration of non-executive directors. The first was in 1964 when a 25 per cent increase was given in respect of fees less than £500 p.a. subject to a ceiling of £500 p.m. The second increase was in 1974 when a 60 per cent increase was granted. This was based on the level of fees being paid to Directors in the private sector.
