138.

asked the Minister for the Environment when a new house grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Limerick.

The application relates to both the £2,000 grant and the £2,250 builders grant. An inspection, with a view to the payment of the £2,000 grant, will be carried out as soon as possible. The receipt of additional documentation requested from the applicant in relation to the £2,250 grant is awaited.

139.

asked the Minister for the Environment if a mortgage subsidy will be paid to persons (details supplied) in Dublin 24; when payment will issue; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

A decision in this case must await the receipt of additional documentation requested from the applicant.

140.

asked the Minister for the Environment if a surrender premium will be paid to persons (details supplied) in County Cork; if not, the reason; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

asked the Minister for the Environment if arrangements are now being made for payment of a new house grant to a person (details supplied) in County Cork; if not, the reason; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

There is no record of the receipt of a new house grant application from the person named at the address given. There is, however, an application from a person with the same name and from a broadly similar address. In that case a grant cannot be allowed as, contrary to a statutory condition of the scheme, the applicant was not the first owner of the house in question.

142.

asked the Minister for the Environment if payment of an outstanding mortgage subsidy will issue to persons (details supplied) in County Cork; if not, the reason, and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The final instalment of the mortgage subsidy will be paid as soon as possible.
