Written Answers. - Grant and Mortgage Subsidy Payments.

74.

(Limerick East) asked the Minister for the Environment if a new house grant and mortgage subsidy will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Limerick; if so, when; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

An inspection, with a view to payment of the £2,000 grant, will be carried out as soon as possible.

The £2,250 builders' grant will be paid in two equal instalments, in due course, in accordance with the conditions of the scheme.

75.

(Limerick East) asked the Minister for the Environment if a new house grant and mortgage subsidy will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Limerick; if so, when; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

An inspection, with a view to payment of the grant, will be arranged when the applicants notify the Department that all works on the house have been completed and the house is being occupied as their normal place of residence. Payment of the mortgage subsidy will be made in due course on receipt of the relevant claim form.
