asked the Minister for Labour in relation to the Protection of Employees Act, 1977, (a) the number of prosecutions initiated by his Department; (b) the number of proceedings which commenced in the courts; (c) the number of fines imposed by the courts; and (d) if any prosecutions are pending.

To date no prosecutions have been initiated by the Department of Labour in relation to the operation of the Protection of Employees Act, 1977, and none are pending.
