asked the Minister for Finance if he will arrange for the Revenue Commissioners to confirm regarding the tax matters of a company (details supplied) in County Wexford (a) that the amended records for VAT liability from 1978 to date as submitted by the company on 20 August 1987 are acceptable for liability purposes and arising from this that the file would be computerised from now on; (b) if the Revenue Commissioners will set out to the taxpayer the amended liability and seek to arrange a mutually agreeable arrangement for these arrears; (c) if he will clarify the way in which the misunderstanding between the local tax office and the Collector-General's Office concerning units of current taxes and confirm receipt of the large prepayment of tax to the local tax office; and (d) if he will set out the circumstances which will have to be entered into in order for the company to be reissued with a C45 certificate.

I have been advised by the Revenue Commissioners that the information requested by the Deputy will be provided in a letter which will be addressed to him by the Collector-General.
