asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if he will make arrangments to have a grant under the farm modernisation scheme paid to a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny where the works have been inspected and passed and payment of money is urgently needed.
A claim under the farm improvement programme for payment of a grant of £15,069 has been received and will be paid as soon as practicable. All claims under the programme are dealt with strictly in order of receipt. Due to existing budgetary constraints, there may be some delay in making grant payments.
