My Department are precluded under the terms of the Government policy on public service staffing from sanctioning the appointment of additional staff by County Clare VEC. It is a matter for the VEC to deploy their staff numbers so as to best meet the needs of the committee's schools including the community college at Killaloe. The efficient functioning of the boiler in Killaloe community college is a matter for the County Clare Vocational Education Committee.
