The average annual production over the next five years (1988-1992) will be as follows: Pulpwood, 760,000m³; Palletwood, 390,000m³; Large Sawlog, 530,000m³; Total, 1,680,000m³.
The Forest Service of my Department in association with the Department of Industry and Commerce and the Industrial Development Authority is currently examining the possibilities for new manufacturing enterprises but as yet no specific plans have emerged.
