The capital provided this year for the local authority housing construction programme has already been fully allocated and it is not possible to issue sanction in 1987 for the scheme referred to by the Deputy. I am not in a position at this stage, to indicate for next year what funds will be made available to individual housing authorities and consequently what schemes may be approved.
