asked the Minister for Finance the total acreage to be drained in the Boyle/Bonet drainage scheme on each of the two major tributaries; the total length of major tributaries that will be drained in this scheme; the length and details of minor tributaries to be drained; the number employed on the drainage scheme at 1 August 1987; and the number envisaged to be employed by 1 August 1988.

The information sought in relation to benefiting acreage and length of channels to be drained in the Boyle and Bonet catchment drainage schemes is as follows:

1,425 acres

On 1 August 1987, a total of 188 men were employed on the Boyle/Bonet schemes. It is hoped to employ about 90 men on these schemes throughout 1988.
