I propose to take Questions Nos. 49 and 50 together.
I am aware of the unemployment situation in the Listowel and Castleisland areas of County Kerry. I have been assured by the Industrial Development Authority, which has national responsibility for the implementation of industrial development policies, that they are actively promoting these areas for the development of new industry and the expansion of existing industry. The IDA has recently approved assistance for a major international services project which will be located in the general area referred to by the Deputy. Negotiations on outstanding details will be finalised shortly.
